The goal of the After School Program is to provide supervision of students at the school site for a reasonable cost.

The Program will operate on the days school is in session. The times are 3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. on regular school days, 1:20 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. on faculty meeting days. The program will not operate on holidays, Holydays, or during summer months. The Program will not operate on school days when a 12:00 dismissal is scheduled. Drop-in children should be picked up no later than 5:00 p.m.
The program is available to all school age (PreS-8) children in the St. Vincent De Paul Parish. A registration form is required for all students and must be received before a child has used the program for a second time.

If school is out of session for inclement weather or other reason, there will be no After School Program available.

Records of attendance will be kept by one of the After School Care Supervisors. The fee for the 2019- 2020 school year is as follows:

$6.00 per child per day for one-child family
$5.00 per child per day for families of two children in the Program
$4.00 per child per day for families with more than two children in the Program
The fee is charged per day regardless of the amount of time the child spends in the program. The After School Program ends at 5:30 p.m. An additional fee of $1.00 per minute will be charged for students who have not been picked up by 5:30 p.m. Payments are expected on Friday of each week. Families who incur past due balances may be asked to discontinue use of the program until these past due fees are paid.

Students will gather in a designated area after school to be checked in by a Program Supervisor. Children will be allowed to leave only when checked out by a parent or guardian or individuals listed on the registration forms. Any other individuals must have written consent of the parent or guardian.

The Program will provide students with a snack. Students may also bring their own snack from home. Supervisors will schedule free play time, quiet time for study, reading or homework, and creative time during the Program.

A student may be allowed to leave the Program to attend a school sponsored game, event, or activity if, he/she brings a note of permission signed by the parents or guardian. The students will be allowed to leave the Program no earlier than 10 minutes before the Activity or the time designated in the note of permission. The Program's responsibility for the child ends at that time.
